Fix the Wage Theft Prevention Act and repeal the annual notice requirement

In support of the NYS Business Council, we need your help now to repeal the annual notice requirement of the Wage Theft Prevention Act!

We’ve just finished complying with the first of many future annual wage notices required by the Wage Theft Prevention Act. It cost a lot in staff and employee time and was a duplication of information already provided on every pay check stub.

As a result of this, a campaign to repeal this annual notice has started and we encourage you to participate by sending an email to your state elected officials. Click the link below to access the Grassroots Action Center. Once in, you’ll be asked for address information so the system can locate your state elected officials. As you proceed, you’ll also see an email with a prepared message. If you agree with the message, just click to send it to your elected representatives and legislative leaders. We thank you for your participation!
