REGISTER FOR THE EVENT

Join CNY SHRM for an informative presentation on strategies designed to educate employers on a holistic approach to supporting employees in the areas of physical health, lifestyle support, and financial well-being.

Our experienced panel of speakers will discuss:

•Why holistic health should include physical, lifestyle, and financial well-being.

•How flexible benefits can empower employees to address their individual needs.

•What is Direct Primary Care (DPC) and how can employers leverage it to make care from a medical provider more accessible, personal, and proactive.

•The connection between financial stress and overall employee health.

•How HR leaders can design benefits strategies that meet employees where they are.

•Practical considerations for improving engagement, accessibility, and the employee benefits experience.

Our panel discussions will be followed by an engaging and participatory discussion and Q&A.

Panelists include Amber Dang, Customer Success Manager at Compt; Christine Spiak, Money Coach and Co-Founder of Success Circle, and Beth Holmes,  VP of Hint Connect at Hint Health.

To begin our discussion, we will cover how employees coming from different backgrounds and financial situations can make employee conversations surrounding financial well-being challenging and intimidating. Christine will begin our presentation with an educational and supportive approach for Human Resources professionals to better understand and discuss the financial wellbeing of their employees.

Beth will transition from financial well-being to physical well-being and health, by providing an overview of a new and trending model of Primary Care – Direct Primary Care. Human Resource attendees will learn about an alternative benefit employers are providing to their employees to recruit and retain top talent. She will explain how DPC works in tandem with major medical plan coverage, or how smaller employers who don’t have the ability to provide major medical coverage leverage DPC to improve access to care for their employees.

Amber will conclude our conversation with an overview of how employers across industries, size and location are re-investing in their employee’s health and well-being utilizing Lifestyle Spending Accounts. Amber will share a high-level overview of their 2026 Benchmarking Report, along with some real-world examples of how employees have leveraged the flexibility of their employers funds to invest in the areas of well-being that matter most to them and their families.
