Want to join the Bauer Performance Sports team as a Human Resources Generalist?  

The Human Resources Generalist, located in Liverpool, New York, will be responsible for delivering a broad range of Human Resources activities for the lacrosse organization while ensuring the Human Resources department is a value added partner of Bauer Performance Sports (BPS).

The Human Resources Generalist will act as the first point of contact for employees regarding benefits and payroll. You will process benefit enrollments and changes. You will work with outside vendors to resolve benefit issues and you will administer COBRA as well as leave of absence requests. The successful candidate will manage the recruiting process which includes resume screening, interviews, reference checks and follow up. You will also manage the on boarding process for new hires. The Human Resources Generalist must maintain up to date knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations to ensure the organization remains compliant. The successful candidate will manage and resolve employee relations issues. You will act as an employee champion and change agent and drive the communication process for all Human Resource related activities.  

Requirements:

Duties require an Associate’s Degree and 3-5 years experience in the HR field; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

-    Human Resources certification preferred.

-    Maintains high level of confidentiality.

-    Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

-    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

-    Ability to clearly articulate complex topics, goals and objectives.  

-    Proficient in MS Office Suite.

-    Travel between NY offices and NH headquarters required quarterly or as needed.
