Title: HR Assistant

Supervisor: Director, Human Resources & VP, Talent Acquisitions
 
We are looking for an HR Assistant who can not only provide solid and consistent administrative support but also have the ability to accomplish essential HR-specific tasks.  As part of the Human Resources team, the successful applicant must be a highly skilled and confident, detail-oriented, passionate about getting things done and excellent at problem solving.
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative

  • Answer phones, and handle all incoming inquiries
  • Greet candidates and other individuals visiting the Human Resources Department
  • Sort through all incoming mail
  • Manage calendar and scheduling of all meetings, conference calls, interviews, etc.
  • Reconcile, submit, and keep track of expense reports
  • Set up all travel arrangements and car services
  • Order all HR office supplies
  • Handle all UPS shipments (sending and tracking)
  • Update contact lists and distribute accordingly
  • File all paperwork (i.e. employee timesheets, benefits materials, applications)

Human Resources  

  • Manage the on boarding paperwork of temporary employees and interns
  • Track recruitment costs and ensure efficient flow of recruitment-based invoices
  • Review any incoming resumes (via mail, email, and fax) and share with appropriate member of the HR team.
  • Coordinate any updates of the HR section on IAC.com & IAC Connect with Communications department.
  • Track HR birthdays and anniversaries and plan department celebrations

Miscellaneous HR

  • Assist the HR team with special projects when needed
  • Check the general HR line voice mailbox on a daily basis and follow up on all inquiries/messages

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Previous administrative experience, preferably two to three years, in an office environment; exposure to dealing with confidential or sensitive information required
  • Outstanding organizational and follow-through skills.  Strict attention to detail is a must.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.  Highly visible position entails interaction with VIPs.
  • Very strong computer skills.  *Outlook, *PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills must be excellent.
  • High level of resourcefulness  and strong team player
  • Ability to multi-task is essential
  • Capacity to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Solid communication and writing skills
