Colgate - HR Analyst

An exciting opportunity to be a part of the Human Resources team at Colgate University awaits you.  We are currently seeking to grow our department with the addition of an HR Analyst to provide administrative analytical support. The primary focus of this entry-level position will be in areas such as legal compliance, recruitment, labor/employee relations, staff development and a variety of other HR related functions. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and enjoys working in a collaborative environment on a wide range of issues. 

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and a demonstrated interest in the field of human resources. The position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to compose a variety of communications and reports. Strong organizational skills coupled with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize. Demonstrated technical competency including proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Google documents and other comparable software programs is required. Must be capable of working collegially with a diverse group of faculty, staff and students on a daily basis.
