Training Administrator

Hillside Family of Agencies is currently recruiting for a Training Administrator to support our Institute for Family Connections and Organizational Development team!

The Training Administrator works with Family Finding and Organizational Development and Learning staff as well as internal and external instructors to support the implementation and delivery of training, and support training administration and logistics efforts. This position is in many ways the "face" of the Hillside Learning Institute and the Institute for Family Connections. Independent problem solving and going above and beyond to meet customer needs is an essential part of the position, as is creating a positive and professional experience for learners and trainers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing data projects internal and external to Hillside.
  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Director, Institute for Family Connections and the Family Finding Practice Leader as needed
  • Creating invoices; working closely with financial services to monitor customer payments.
  • Create travel plans/itineraries for trainers and director.
  • Manages and organizes exhibitor set-up and/or presentations at conferences.
  • Performs course administration tasks including course setup, scheduling, enrollment, reporting, entering and maintaining training records
  • Communicates with learners, including sending information about pre-work, prerequisites, course evaluations, post-course activities, and responding to questions about schedules, enrollments, etc.
  • Collects post-session evaluations and create summary reports
  • Maintains calendar of courses and workshops. Schedules internal and external facilitators to deliver scheduled courses
  • Oversees course delivery, including room and equipment setup and production of course materials (participant binders, slides, searches, etc.) as required

High School diploma with a minimum of 2 years of experience in training administration/logistics-related experience is required. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Instructional Design, or related area with 5 years of experience is preferred. Excellent computer skills, Excel in particular, and the ability to manipulate and facilitate changes in the master curriculum are necessary.
