Position:  Director of Human Resources- CAR-FRESHNER Corporation

Description:   Reporting directly to the company President, the Director of Human Resources will be responsible for designing and implementing HR policy and structures that enhance the business, comply with governmental standards, and provide a productive and equitable work environment for all employees. Departmental responsibility includes 5 direct reports including 2 managers in the plant operations. Initial focus will be on evaluation of recruiting, training, compensation, and benefits programs for effectiveness, suitability, and compliance. The Director of Human Resources will also have ongoing responsibility for employee relations, organizational development, workers compensation, event planning, and recruiting.

Skills:  We are seeking a broadly experienced, hands-on HR professional proficient in leading all major HR functions including strategy, employee relations, staffing, compensation and benefits, training and development, and regulatory compliance. This position requires a minimum of 10 years progressive experience in organizations that consider HR to be a true business partner. The proven ability to develop and manage HR initiatives within organizations of similar scale is strongly desired. Practical knowledge in the field, a solid educational background, and high emotional intelligence will work best with the leadership team.
