WYNIT Distribution, LLC is currently recruiting for a Human Resources Generalist in their N. Syracuse Office.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Human Resources Generalist provides support in the areas of benefits, compensation, recruitment, training, employee relations and compliance.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company employees; assists in development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Assists in administering the company’s compensation program; monitors performance evaluation program.
  • Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefit information to employees.
  • Completes payroll process timely and accurately and in accordance with WYNIT’s pay policy.
  • Maintains personnel records, reports, and administration.
  • Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations in Corporate Office.
  • Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. Familiarity with COBRA, ERISA, FMLA and related state and federal regulations required.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resource administration
  • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company.
  • Works effectively and relates well with others Including superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company. The employee exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationships.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration
  • 2-4 years of Human Resources experience  
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred but not required.
