Brown & Brown Insurance - Team Resources Analyst 

As a member of the Internal Operations Review Team, the Team Resources Analyst is responsible for reviewing, analyzing and making recommendations in regards to all compensation, benefits, and human resources activities throughout all of the Brown & Brown profit centers. 

Essential Duties and Functions:

  • Responsible for reviewing all human resource activities to include employment, compensation, benefits, and training and development for all existing offices in order to ensure compliance with Brown & Brown guidelines as well as applicable Federal and State laws.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve the review Task Workbook to ensure it is a valid measuring tool and resource for the review process.
  • Conduct FLSA evaluations of job positions as needed.
  • Assist with documentation of job descriptions and performance evaluation systems for all existing offices.
  • Provide advice, assistance and follow-up for profit centers in regards to compliance with company policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Recommend and advise on maintenance of human resource, payroll, and benefits systems.
  • Develop and maintain relationship with internal operating divisions.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • 1-3 Year’s experience preferred
  • Knowledge of employment law and other government (state and federal) compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • The ability to research and analyze various types of Human Resource data.
  • Must have the ability interpret and translate procedures, regulations and/or government law.
  • Ability to work independently, organizes, and prioritizes work effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to travel up to 60%.

Preferred

  • Successful completion of PHR exam 

Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis:

  • Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day.
  • Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication 7-8 hours per day.
  • Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor.
  • Ability to sit at a desk 7-8 hours per day.
