Organizational Development Specialist - SRC

Currently, SRC is seeking an organizational development specialist to design, develop, and implement programs and initiatives to improve organizational and individual performance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Manage initiatives and deliver learning solutions that support business strategy and enhance individual and organizational development
  • Collaborate with business partners to identify training needs and translate into learning requirements.
  • Partner with external vendors and subject matter experts to evaluate and provide advice on course design, content, materials and delivery methods to ensure effective learning solutions
  • Design and develop internal courses including course content, training materials and instructional methods for instructor-led training
  • Facilitate/deliver training sessions, workshops, discussion groups, and other learning events
  • Support talent management activities including performance management, development planning and succession planning
  • Provide reporting/analytics from talent management and learning management systems to support organizational development

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, human resources, instructional design, business administration, organizational psychology or related field is required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 6 year’s of experience in organizational development and/or training and development including training design, development and delivery
  • Strong project management skills and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to balance big-picture thinking with day-to-day details and deliverables with a strong emphasis on quality
  • Strong client focus and relationship management skills, and able to establish credibility with all levels of the organization and with external vendors
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including presentation/public speaking skills and facilitation skills
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across the organization
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Working knowledge of E-learning software (Articulate, Captivate or equivalent) and illustrative software to create content (Publisher, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Ability to learn new technology and applications quickly
  • Experience working with HRIS systems including databases, reporting and analytics, including talent management (e.g. SuccessFactors) and LMS systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) required
  • Position requires about 10% travel
  • Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning techniques and experience with e-learning design desired
  • Experience with change management, organizational effectiveness and leadership development including 360/multi- rater feedback a plus
