Human Resources Assistant - JM Murray (Cortland, NY)

Seeking an HR Assistant to provide support to the overall delivery of human resources services to our organization. Maintain personnel files, generate/distribute monthly reports, assist with benefit administration, open/sort mail, and follow up on required documentation for new employees and open enrollment activities. Maintain bulletin boards, online recruiting job sites, and internal/externals job postings

Requirements: HS with min 2-3 years related office experience. AAS degree and past experience in human resources, benefits administration and compliance preferred. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information. Strong verbal and written communication skills; good planning and organizational skills, and attention to detail. Ability to foster effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.

Knowledge of various software programs including word processing, databases, and spreadsheets. Familiar with presentation software preferred.
