Associate Director of Employee Relations - Syracuse University

Syracuse University is seeking an Associate Director of Employee Relations to join its dynamic Human Resources unit in Syracuse, New York. The Associate Director of Employee Relations will ensure all employee relations policies are consistently administered across all areas of the University.  He/she will make certain that local, state and federal laws are adhered to for all employee relations situations.  The Associate Director will also serve as a liaison between employee and managers to ensure fair and consistent treatment of employees in all aspects.

Competitive candidates will have a minimum of:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred in HR, Industrial Labor Relations, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in HR or related work.
  • Background in employee relations required.

Relevant work experience in a higher education environment is desired.
