Human Resources Coordinator - YMCA of Greater Syracuse

The Y is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative support in the following HR functional areas: policy development, department organization, recordkeeping & retention, workforce planning & recruitment, performance management, training & development, employee relations, compensation & benefits administration, and employee health and safety.  The incumbent is detail oriented with the ability to provide effective HR customer services and administrative support to management and employees of the Y.   The ideal candidate should possess a solid understand of general HR laws & principles, excellent organizational, interpersonal, communications & computer skills, an Associate’s degree in business or an HR Management PHR or SPRH certification, & three years of commensurate experience in the HR field.  The Y offers a competitive compensation and benefit package to include health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, retirement and 403(B) plan and a complementary Y membership.
