Our New Hartford office is seeking a Benefits Analyst to be responsible for assisting in the development, delivery and maintenance of corporate employee benefits programs, policies and procedures while contending with and meeting multiple deadlines. Extensive contact with employees, retirees and outside vendors, involving group presentations, is required. Willingness to pursue and successfully complete Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) series of coursework is also required.  Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills are required to interpret and communicate technical issues such as government regulations and group insurance contracts.

Qualified candidates will have 4 year college degree or equivalent business experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience working in benefits field. Should have extensive knowledge of welfare benefit plans, 401(k) plans, and pension plan. Must have excellent verbal and writing skills and strong presentation skills. Successful candidate will be highly analytical and detail  oriented, with strong mathematical and PC aptitude. Excel proficiency preferred. Must be self-motivated and resourceful, with strong ability to meet and contend with frequent deadlines. Needs to have ability to interpret government regulations. Absolute confidentiality and results orientation required. This is an exempt position.
