Human Resources Manager - Rochester NY

Global Manufacturing client seeks big picture, well-rounded HR Generalist with exceptional people skills to support unionized facility. Must have solid Labor Relations skills to include; managing grievances, experience in negotiations preparations, and as a member of the negotiating committee. Must be able to maintain great union relations, and to bring issues to a successful resolution for all sides in a timely fashion. Will work with outside consultants in Benefits development and modification. Will administer all Health and Welfare Benefit programs, as well as Insurance for all Directors and Officers, and General Liability insurance etc. Must understand payroll system and how this interfaces with benefits.   Also will provide HR support for annual performance and salary review process. Additionally responsible for developing staffing strategy and managing full cycle recruiting. Will also create Training programs and manage new hire orientation.

Seek minimum 8 to 10 years HR Generalist experience to include Labor Relations experience in a unionized manufacturing environment. Supervisory experience required.  Must have BA in HR or related field. PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
