The Central New York Chapter of the Society for HR Management (CNYSHRM) is offering a virtual program for our members on September 30, 2021, tentatively titled “Engagement and Inclusion in a Bold New World.”

This session will include a panel discussion on strategies designed to actively engage a diverse workforce, whether in-person or remote, creating a work environment that is both inclusive and welcoming, where employees of diverse backgrounds and groups can truly feel comfortable being themselves. Session participants will have the opportunity to hear from a panel of three experts in the Syracuse, NY community. Each panel member will spend approximately 10 to 15 minutes to share a little about themselves in addition to the following:

  1. Their definition of engagement and inclusion.
  2. Current employee engagement and inclusion practices within their organization.
  3. Successes and challenges they’ve experienced in implementing engagement and inclusion programs.
  4. At least one engagement or inclusion strategy that session participants could take back and implement within their organizations in the next 30-60 days.
