Legal Update
CNY SHRM has heard from its members that legal and compliance issues are at the top of their list of concerns. Therefore, in addition to providing legal update presentations several times a year at meetings, we will be providing more regular legal bulletins on the CNY SHRM website. For example, check out our most recent posting regarding the NYS DOL’s Deduction of Wages effective October 9th, 2013.

Professional HR Certification Class
Are you interested in achieving your HR certification and want to know what it can do for you? Go to the HRCI site http://www.hrci.org to find this answer and more. Locally we can help you study for the certification tests. Join your fellow HR associates at  on Monday evenings from 5:30 - 8:30 pm beginning Monday, February 3rd for 13 weeks to study and prepare for the certification exam!
